Drone technology is revolutionizing how companies operate and deliver services around the world in almost every industry – from construction to insurance/disaster recovery to package delivery. Regulators are working closely with stakeholdres to establish the framework to more fully integrate drones into the national airspace. This webinar will provide an overview of drone regulations in the U.S. as well as common legal and regulatory challenges for drone opeartors.

Chair of Baker McKenzie's Global Aviation Group

Chair of Baker McKenzie's Global Aviation Group and Chair of the Firm’s International Commercial Practice Group for North America. She leads the Firm’s Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) focus team and serves as Chair of the ABA’s Forum Air & Space Law. Ms Trock is based in Washington, DC. Ms Trock focuses a substantial portion of her practice on UAS. She has extensive experience representing all areas of the drone sector on a range of regulatory and commercial matters, including manufacturers, small drone operators and contractors, as well as emerging technology in the areas of High Altitude Pseudo Satellite (HAPS) applications and passenger carrying self-piloted aircraft. Ms. Trock earned her BS from Wheaton College (cum laude). She received her JD from University of Notre Dame Law School.

Associate in Baker McKenzie's Global Aviation Group and a member of the Firm’s Future Mobility and Unmanned Aircraft Systems teams. Prior to joining the Firm, Alex was an aviation and corporate associate at a top-ranked firm in Washington, DC. Previously, he served as Policy Staff for four years with the U.S. House Committee on Science, Space, and Technology. Mr. Matthews earned his BA from Kenyon College. He received his JD from the University of Virginia School of Law.
